OtakuOni: Chapter One

Hime stared at the metal door that was where the closet was before. Was it always metal? Was Hime finally showing symptoms of her insanity? She shrugged and knocked on the door. No reply.

“DINO!” Danni called, “HIME FOUND ME SO LET’S GO FIND CHERO!”

“I’m a little busy right now!” he called, “Did you find any food?”

Hime held the oniigiri out to the door.

“Danni found some oniigiri,” Hime said.

“…”

A hand came out from the closet and grabbed the oniigiri. The door slammed shut.
Hime and Danni deadpanned.

“I found a mochii stuck on the wall upstairs and I wanted help getting it out. I think I will need all three of us,” Hime said.

“DINO! COME OUT OF THE CLOSET!” Danni flailed.

“…When you put it that way…No.”

“The faster you come out and help us…The faster we can look for and locate Chero…” Hime explained.

“…Alright. Give me one second…” he said.

Some banging was heard from inside and then Dino came out, “You say you found a Mochii, si?”

Hime nodded and led the way.

Dino pulled on the angry mochii. He frowned, “He’s very stuck.”

Hime nodded, “I know…”

“Maybe if we had a tool!” Danni suggested.

“That could work,” Dino said.

“I’ll go look for one,” Hime said.

Danni frown, “But what about the monster?”

Hime pointed to her katana, “I can handle it.”

“Be safe,” Dino said.

Hime nodded and headed back down the stairs. She stopped at a second door at the top floor. She tried to open it. She blinked in surprise as it opened. She walked in and saw a piece of paper on the floor. She picked it and looked at it. It…just had colors. She frowned…Maybe she should keep it…Just in case. She pocketed it and looked around some more. She then noticed a switch on the wall, “Up is heaven, Middle is Earth and Bottom is Hell…What a cryptic note…”

Hime…being a rebellious person and not willing to back away from a challenge pulled the switch downward. She heard a click. She glanced over and saw a hole in the floor. She walked over and peered down into it.

“…Well…As they say on tumblr…YOLO!”

She jumped down the hole and landed in a large piano room. The piano was a large white grand piano. She walked over and pressed a few keys. It was in tune. She walked out the door and saw she was on the third floor.

“That’s one way to get around, I guess.”
