Amira looked around for Sousuke. He should be around here somewhere…Ellie trailed close behind. A twig snapped.
“Did you hear that?” Ellie asked.
“It was nothing…” Amira said.
They heard a growl.
“And that? Was that something?” Ellie asked.
Amira nodded.
“Yes…THAT was something.”
The pair ran together, whatever it was was chasing them. Amira turned around and stopped. A large black wolf was running towards her. Amira tsked and punted the wolf away.
Ellie stared in awe.
“WAY TO GO!”
Amira smiled in satisfaction.
“And that’s how you do it!” she said.
The wolf lay on the ground, unmoving. A cloud covered the moon and the wolf transformed into a boy. Amira and Ellie ran over. Amira gasped.
“S-Sousuke?!” she questioned.
The boy groaned and opened his eyes.
“You kick like a man, Amira…” he said.
Amira smacked him and crossed her arms.
Chiyo sat up quickly, snapping out of sleep. She looked around. She had no idea where she was…She climbed out of the bed and wandered around. She pulled at the door, but it was locked. She sighed in frustration. She was even still in pajamas! What a rude kidnapper… Her eyes fell on a beautiful navy blue gown…Maybe her kidnapper was not so rude after all… She picked up the dress and put it on. Oddly enough…it fit perfectly!
Chiyo wandered around the room. There was not much…Just a bed…One windows and a light hanging from the ceiling. The weird thing was the window was completely black….
“Well…that’s useless…” she sighed.
She paced around the room. Her scar was still hurting, but now it was more of a dull pain. She wondered who could have done this…and why her? And who was that boy she dreamed about?
Chiyo climbed into the bed and pretended to be asleep when she heard the door start to unlock. She closed her eyes when she heard the door open and someone walk in.
“Amira, he’s a-”
“Yeah…” Sousuke said standing up, “I’m a werewolf…”
Amira smacked him.
“The hell?! Amira…” he said.
“Why didn’t you tell me?!” Amira demanded.
“…”
“He was scared that you would run away like everyone else,” Ellie said.
“Is this true?” Amira asked.
Sousuke nodded once. Amira flicked his nose.
“You’re an idiot…” she said.
A small beam of moonlight hit Sousuke. Sousuke’s eyes went wide, a pair of dog ears popped out of his head and he suddenly had fangs and a tail. Ellie snickered.
“Amira…Your boyfriend is fluffy,” Ellie said.
Sousuke growled and Amira scratched behind his ear, which made him stop and start to wag his tail.
“Dammit Amira!”
Amira and Ellie both snickered.
“…What are you two doing out here anyways? It’s dangerous to be here alone…”
Amira and Ellie looked at each other with a serious expression.
“We were looking for you…” Ellie said.
“Me?” Sousuke questioned.
“Sousuke…What do you know about vampires?” Amira asked.
“Miss Chiyo…I know you are awake,” a bone chilling voice said.
Chiyo squeezed her eyes shut, hoping he would go away.
“I see your night gown out here…Do you like the dress I picked out for you? I can hear your nervous breaths. Why not come out and face me?”
Chiyo held her breath and said a prayer to God. Please…She then slipped out of bed to face her captor. He was tall and surprisingly handsome. His voice did not fit his face. His hair was blacker than night and his eyes were red and cruel. His skin was very pale and though he appeared very young his eyes seemed to have age to them.
Chiyo wrapped her arms around her shoulders, as if fighting a chill.
“Who are you?” she asked as the man started to circle her, as if she were prey. She closed her eyes, so she could not see him.
“Ebisawa, Atsushi…”he said, stopping in front of her. He took her hand in his and kissed it.
Chiyo shivered. Atsushi gave her a slow grin as he ran his finger over her scar. Chiyo winced and pulled away.
“Why did you bring me here?” she asked.
“You made a promise many years ago, didn’t you?” he asked her.
“I was a child and what does that promise have to do with anything?!” she demanded.
“That child was my nephew…” he started.
Nephew?! He seemed barely 20…how could he have a nephew?
“And he was and still is a vampire.”
Chiyo stared at him in disbelief.
“That’s not possible!” Chiyo cried.
“And…I am as well…” he said flashing a pair of fangs.
Chiyo backed away from him, but he pulled her close to him.
“Soon you will get married to my nephew…”
Atsushi spun Chiyo around so her back was to him. He brushed away her hair and leaned close to her neck, his breath tickling her skin.
“And when your wedding night arrives…He will hold you like this so gently…”
Nothing was gently about the way Atsushi was holding her. She winced from his grip. Atsushi’s fangs grew longer. He brushed them against her neck.
“And you will be with him forever…Just like you promised.”
It was so tempting. She was right there. Her blood smelled sweet through her skin, but he could not be the one to turn her. But…maybe just one taste. He leaned in closer and licked her neck. Chiyo tried to escape his grip, but he held her tight. His fangs pierced her flesh ever so slightly when the door swung open.
