It’s funny, back in the day of 2002-2004, I would have to wait until I’m home and on the computer to post. Now, I can post from my phone!!! So as I type, I’m driving home with my family leaving Williamsburg VA. We hit Busch Gardens, Water Country, VA beach, adorable river restaurants and capes by the James River.
My kids had the best time but after 6 days, it’s time to pack up and go home. We live about 5 hours from Williamsburg so unfortunately, this can’t be a day trip! >_< I so wish! We love it there.
I think the most favorite thing we did was paint pottery at BG. It was HOT down here so it was nice to be inside away from the sun. I’m from Florida so I know hot…. Ugh I don’t miss it. Living in Pennsylvania is so much cooler temperature wise.
I can’t wait to see how it looks after it’s been fired in the kiln.
The river was absolutely beautiful. Sometimes I wish that I lived by the river but sometimes I’m ok with not living by it. I’m so torn! I suppose vacationing to it is a happy medium.
We took this picture for you Kikii! I so miss the 90’s land of the dragons vibe. I wanted to buy you this cool Land of the Dragons felted flag but the darn thing was $45!!!!!! It was crazy because it was just a small triangle flag :( but we took this cool pic for you. We missed you a ton!
We had a cute little cabin but the beds were awful as usual when it comes to dinky little campgrounds. We love it though.

It’s been a great month July but now it’s time to get ready for August! Big things are coming this month - besides working all the darn time. We got family vacation coming up, back to school, and the harvest season for my garden. I start to reserve and dry all of the fruits and vegetables I grew in my garden. It’s such a good time.
So last night I made an amazing dinner. My sis is having fun at Metrocon but I’m sadly stuck far away up north! So I decided to make ramen and enjoy a little anime watching with my kids. It’s was great. Surprisingly, my kids do love homemade ramen
I hope Monday starts off good! We got Pokemon League and more fun stuff coming up. Can’t wait to talk all about it!
I’ve been blogging here again for the past three days! I haven’t made an official re-introduction post yet but I’m sure the time for that will come soon. With so much time that has passed by, I’m no longer the same person I was when I started this blog in the first place!
I was about thirteen when I started here on the MyOtaku and guess how old I am now??? Shhhhh I’m thirty-five!! No way! I almost have kids in their teen years!!! So I am greatly due for a new “How do you do”.
Something I’d like to mention, I am a crochet artist! I grew up loving anime and games and what used to be nerdy stuff but somehow I’m a good way it’s all super cool now. I have channeled that loved for that into crochet and art! I absolutely love to crochet dolls and currently it’s Pokemon! I wanted to share a picture of it.
One thing, I cannot draw buuuuut I’ve been posting Fan Art in TheOtaku but it’s all my crochet stuff!
A quick post about what I just got in the mail today. Beyblade! I really want to show my kids this show and guess what… I did and they like it! While Beyblade isn’t as popular like it was in 2003, it still a fun watch and gives me a moment to reminisce about when I was 12 and played the game!
Next on the list of “anime I want my kids to watch” is Digimon. Absolutely awesome show.
So, I’ve been contemplating things, I’ve noticed a group of us are now called Ghosts. +_+ as much as it breaks my heart to know this place is a graveyard of blogs, I still have want to come back and post regularly. IF anyone out there with a MyO account feels like they want to run away from the fast paced social media, constant ads and algorithm performances, then please start posting here again. I want to connect and comment and share what really matters in life.
I showed my kids how cool this place used to be and they wanted to make accounts too! But I told them it’s sadly closed off from the world and they can’t make accounts here. Maybe I can’t have them share their cute fanart drawings in TheOtaku for now. They are almost the same age I was when I made my account (I was like… 13!!!) so time is flying right one by for me.
Anyways, I have been posting for the past few days, check my archives for the most recent past posts. For those who don’t have MyO accounts, I will be posting the same stuff here in my Diary on TheO.

This is a post of dreams of a somewhat long forgotten place. When blogging, connection and anime created an amazing community. I long for it again and wish to see a spark come back to the MyO. It's been considered a dead website for a long time but I really don't want it to be.
Now, I know you aren't able to actually sign up for a new account (yet ^_-) but if old members could start blogging, commenting and connecting, maybe the page could resurface. It would be amazing to be able to create a site again and have new users fill the site up again with real life. Then maybe new members could start joining! At least I really hope. 
I guess what this post here is asking for is a Call to Action to bring back a little slice of an amazing community. You can message me if you would like to be apart of it and if we aren't MyO friends, I will add you so I can see your updates!
