All right,so this is my next review of a classic detective type of anime, called "Detective Conan" which is direct translation from Japanese,though in the west this series has been know as Case Closed.
The first thing you may notice about this anime are it's animations and drawings. They are made in a classic way,and are average for it's time. Don't expect something to big,because they are just made in the way,so they could cover up the huge amount of episodes.
But where the really this anime is good,it's it story and the way it is told. For the anime that is spawning 593 episodes(Yeah,I know!!!) this is one of the longest animes out there(And guess what,it is still ongoing). So you wonder,what really happens in this episodes.Well the story goes like this. The famous detective Conan and a student,gets poisoned by the two guys of some organizations.But actually the poison doesn't kill him.It actually shrinks him in size,giving him child like form,but he still retains all his memories and such. And then he is always traveling with his friend Rachel Moore and his father,who is a private detective. There is always also a funny inspector who shows at every crime scene. There always Conan figures out the case,but he is a child so no one believes him(though he sometimes gives a small hints,usually how a child would say).Then he always puts to sleep the hilarious detective,and he goes behind his back,and with a special microphone he speaks with his voice.
There are many details,and I don't want to go to much into them, but when you start watching you will know what I am saying.
The soundtrack and voice acting is pretty average(though I saw this anime dubbed in German,so I don't really know how it sounds in Japanese).
At the end to tell,if you are looking for a LONG,but good detective anime,then go for this.At least try some episodes.The anime is pretty interesting,and if you want you can also check some of it 14 movies,or 14 OVA.
ANIMATIONS:6.5/10- the animations are so-so,but overall not to bad
SOUND:7/10-pretty solid,and it has some nice moments
DIALOG:9/10-just the way they speak,and case solving is amazing
ENTERTAINMENT:8.5/10-an entertaining that will keep you on watching
OVERALL:9/10-just because it is one of the crime/detective type of animes out there
