So, yesterday was Daku's birthday. I gave him the book Gray's Anatomy, written in the late 1800s by Henry Gray. Daku will need it in 2 years for med school. He's 20 now...Yeah, he's 3 months younger than me...And that's the oldest any of my boyfriends have ever been!! Seriously, I've never dated a guy older than me...Anyways, I also took him out to Subway. We brought the sammiches back to the anime club meeting. At the beginning, I played an "Avatar: the Last Airbender" amv set to the Arrogant Worms' "Happy Birthday Song". I'm too lazy to add a link, so please YouTube it. It's really funny. Then we watched "Grave of the Fireflies". I recommend that movie to anyone who loves a good anime! The style is reminiscent of Hayao Miyazaki's work, but it's not a Studio Ghibli film. It was made back in the late 1980s. It's about these 2 Japanese children near the end of World War 2. Make sure you have tissues ready if you are prone to crying. It's very sad.
So, today, I mixed plaster for my first time ever. It feels like a mixture of snot and glue...No, I've never actually felt what snot and glue feel like mixed together, but I can imagine...Plaster really dries your hands out...
Later this afternoon, I'm going outside and playing with some Sidewalk Chalk. I've got a package that I've had for a year now...I've been waiting for it to get warm again, and today it's like 80 F! Back on Monday, it was like 45 F...So yeah, big temperature jump...Tonight I'm going to Joco Java, the local coffee shop, for Open Mic night. I'm hoping to read a poem of mine...Speaking of, I need to find which one I want to read!
So....HINATA'S NOT DEAD!!!! And there was much rejoicing...

I had an interesting weekend. Me and Daku followed his mom and Ceara up to Camp Formosa (a church camp 2 hours away from here) for a SCA event. It snowed off and on all day. In the morning, 4 people collapsed. They were all traveling together and had stayed in the same building (it was an overnight event). One went down, then another, then the 3rd guy collapsed, and then a fourth person...3 ambulances, 3 marked police cars, 2 unmarked police cars, and several emergency response people came out to take care of the situation. They think it was either carbon monoxide (sp?) or food poisoning. 3 of the people were released and back on site after a while, but the 3rd guy that went down had had a stroke on Monday, went into convulsions when he collapsed yesterday, and started having flashbacks of when he was in Iraq, so the hospital kept him overnight. I hope he's okay.
I finished my Teacher Education Application...Now I'm waiting to hear when my interview is set for...I've also got a test tomorrow in my World Civ 2 class...And I've gotta get some pieces together for Sophomore Review...And I've gotta do 2 charcoal portraits for one of my Education teachers...I'll be getting $30 off of that...And at some point when I have free time, I'm going to take pictures of my old Watercolor work and some of my Figure Drawing work and upload them on here...I'm not so sure about uploading the FD pictures...They're of naked girls...

So, I'm working on another post for my other world, The Secret Life of Plushies. It'll be Valentine-themed...I've gotta wait for my frickin batteries to charge so my camera will work again, though. I hate waiting...

I updated the theme for this world. The girl on the banner is Re-L, from "Ergo Proxy". The poemy thing is just something I whipped up on the spot...I got tired of what I previously had...I'm gonna change my avatar soon, too...It's gonna be one that I made from a recent fan art of mine. I forgot the title, but it's the one with the androgynous person and the butterfly.
I need to work on an essay for the Education department...I have to apply so I can continue my Teacher Educations...
I've decided not to post one of the pictures I've been working on. The one called "Watch Them Burn". I messed up on coloring it, and that makes me really sad, because it was a profile view, and I had done a really good job without using any references or anything...DeiNa-chan, I promise I'll have Axel drawn soon! I'm planning on drawing him on the 21st, as I'll be under 24-hour observation with nothing to do...If anyone else wants to request something or do an art trade, I'm open to it.

Ok, so Daku got me the coolest gift ever! He gave me a plate with Sephiroth etched onto it, and he gave me KINGDOM HEARTS II!! I love him...I gave him a heart-shaped basket full of candy, and he got coupons: 6 massages, 6 nag-free days, and 6 free dinners. I made them on my cpu.
