Rabbit and Memory Flash

We had gathered our supplies and headed back into Area 3, the spring weather was an improvement over the snow, which slows down traveling speeds. Besides, the warmer weather also helps bring out and up people's spirits. Kisha and Zack were chit chatting as I led onward for the next ingredient I, we needed.

We passed a few other small groups that were out but most seem worn out and tired as they headed back towards the town. They were friendly and ever so often we talk with a group or answer any questions they might have. Like myself, Zack was pretty knowledgeable about the game. I didn't know much about Kisha still thought.

Thankfully it was uneventful as we went as that would slow us down since we didn't plan to stay in this area long. I started day dreaming as the weather was nice with an easy walk. Before I heard Kisha chime up with excitement behind me.

Her and Zack started going back an forth about a blueberry bush as I turned and started to regroup with them. Kisha apparently has the ability to manipulate plants, that is good to know. She came walking over to us after she stuck a large amount of berries into her inventory.

As she and Zack kept at it a young female voice shouted out.

I turned around looking up to the sight of a young lady with an rabbit appearance following out of the tree over head. Quickly turning around and getting under her, I caught her in my arms before she hit the ground.

"Are you alright?" I asked looking at her in my arms before my eyes started to glaze over.

"I'm fine, thank you." I heard her say before I zoned out, back to another time before this game. Thoughts of past battles flashed across my mind for second before the laughter and smile of my daughter took over.

The innocent of her smile trying to get out of trouble with her father whenever I would return home. Followed by the long adventures we would spend wandering together catching up on what I missed while away. The day of my return and the follow few we were almost inseparable, only be apart to play our usual set of games together she enjoyed.

The memories just flowed as my eyes behind my helmet almost began to water before I head my name being called.

"Sig? Sig! You alright?" I heard Zack asking, called at me.

My focus returned to the present and the reality of the game, still holding the young rabbit girl in my arms.

"Oh, I'm so sorry about that." I quickly replied as I let her down. "I do apologize about that." I finished before taking a step back to not crowd her as I turned to look at Zack.

"Yeah. I am okay. It was nothing." I replied a little hesitant.

"Alright then." Zack replied but I could tell from his voice he didn't by it but was smart to not push the issue right now. I heard him walk over towards our new companion.

"Name is Zack. And are you sure you are okay?" I heard him ask as he stop, shifting his stance causing his swords and gear to shift.

"Yes I am. I'm tougher then I look, but thank you." She replied.

You could tell she was a little nervous around us, but who could blame her. She is with strangers and outnumbered. Never a good place to be even more so since she looks like an agility type attacker.

Zack continued to talk with her for a moment before introducing the rest of us.

"The girl over there, the flower nymph, her name is Kisha."

"Hello there, nice to meet you." She stated as she was introduced.

"I'm Zack and the tall scary guy over there who is actually a giant teddy bear is Sig, but don't him I said that." Zack rambled on to the new girl.

"I heard that Zack. Don't make me have to hurt you for going around ruining my reputation now." I replied to his comment removing my helmet as I approached him.

"You maybe a Neko, but don't think you can get away that easy from me." I said smiling to him as I now stood next to him.

I turned to the girl with my helmet under my left arm. "Glad to see you are alright and its a pleasure to meet you." I said with a slight bow in my neck before standing back up.
