Pais was shivering next to me. We had gone a good bit up the mountain. I didn't feel any different. She was tryit to hide the fact that it was becoming too cold for her. She wants to go with me. How sweet.
"Pais, you can go back. You need to warm up." She smiled and nodded. I watched her go back down for a bit, and then turned and continued my journey up. There really wasn't any need for her to worry. It's only Area 2.
A giant boulder of ice landed next to me. "Go awaaaay." Another landed in front of me. "Leeeeave." I looked up to see a family of Ooki Navi on a ridge above me. "Gah...go away you bunch of stupid primates!" One hissed at me and bared it's fangs. "Fox does not belong here! Go awwwway!" He threw another rock. It broke and a piece flew at my face. I batted it away.
My tail rose and my hair stood on end. "Now I am annoyed! You were warned!" I drew my blade and charged. They howled in surprise and scrambled. I simply ran past them. It was enough to leave them afraid. Hopefully they will let me by on my way down. I really didn't want to kill one of them.
The snow was growing heavier as I rose. Soon this would be over. Everything was either snow or ice. Finally there was a break. Everything became clear. It was like I had climbed above the clouds. "Good thing this game doesn't have real air conditions. Else I guess I'd be dead." I reached down and grabbed some of the snow, placing it into my inventory.
"Mission complete. Time to head back and have a drink!" I turned and started back down. Much easier than going up. Faster too.
Oddly enough when I reached the bottom I found Pais with a male companion. They hadn't seen me yet, so I took the opportunity to hide and watch. Is he...her friend? A boyfriend maybe? After 5 minutes I came to the conclusion that....they were boring!
"PAIS-CHAAAAN!" They both turned to look at me.
