A place to rest, thank goodness. And Sig said he would go out and get the final ingredient. Zack seemed a little worried about him, which was honestly kind of sweet. But I had work to do on Zack, and with Sig away, now I can reveal that I’m not just some weak girl. There were plants in the room, which was perfect.
“Hey Zack?” I asked him as I sat on the bed.
“What?” He said.
“Thank you for letting me come with you two.” I slowly started making the plants grow and creep silently along the floor towards where he was standing.
“Yeah, just make sure you pull your weight. Sig wasn’t lying when he said we would leave you behi-” And that’s then in a flash, I wrapped the plants around his legs and arms firmly and pulled him down onto the bed behind me.
“Don’t worry, I plan on pulling my weight sweetie.” I stood up and turned around to face him with a smirk on my face.
“Let me go!” He said, trying to wiggle out, which only made my grip a little stronger.
“Don’t fuss, I’m not going to hurt you, this is just a precaution, and a little bit of fun. Now, I might have been a dumb girl back at the tavern, but I’m actually a pretty good fighter given the right circumstances. I’m not in the top ten, but I need to get back home, and going with you and Sig is my best bet of getting out of here alive.”
“Is this really necessary?” Zack sighed and looked up at the ceiling.
“Not really, but isn’t it just a little bit fun?” I stroked his cheek with my finger and he lowly growled at me. “Anyway, I worked at the tavern in order to get information on players and some of the areas. You and Sig were spot on, and I heard rumors that there are some caverns deep under the waves and that the entrance to the next area is hidden through one of them.”
“Wait, so if we need to get through some dark tunnels, we need a way to see down there.” Zack said.
“Exactly, but that’s the problem, I don’t know how to do that. Maybe there’s a potion or something that can help us, or something we can craft that might burn underwater.” I laid down next to him.
“Well since you think you’re so hot, maybe you’ll just glow.” Zack said.
“I do glow faintly in fact, but not enough to light our way, and don’t be embarrassed that you think I’m attractive, you’re not bad yourself for a pretty kitty.”
"Excuse me?" He said as he raised an eyebrow. I smirked a little and leaned in.
"I'll prove my worth soon enough, we are in this together now, and as long as you don't betray me, I'll be a loyal and good asset to the team." I explained.
"So I'm supposed to trust you?" Zack asked.
"I'm not asking for trust, or even friendship if you don't want it. I've been through enough with the men in this game to expect anything. But I am asking for your cooperation." I said seriously.
"I'm not like every other guy here. But you'll get farther by not doing, this, to allies." He shook his arms a little.
"Eh, I haven't had someone to play with that I enjoy for a while. Besides, It's easier checking you out this way." I chuckled.
"H-Hey..." He stuttered and I curled up next to him.
"And having a warm body near is a plus for me, especially in the cold." I wrapped an arm over his chest and closed my eyes.
"You're honestly not falling asleep here are you? And leave me like this?!" Zack exclaimed.
"...I guess not." I slowly let my plants return to their pots and fell asleep almost instantly as I had expended much energy that day.

So I threw in an idea for the entrence to the next area, and was thinking maybe in the dark caverns it could be a good place for an ambush? Just a thought about where to possibly go in the near future!
