I looked at Zack before placing my hand on the elixir bottle. "I appreciate the offer but you don't own me anything." I told him lifting the bottle and placing it into his chest as he leaned over the table.
"Come on man." he said grabbing the bottle and placed back on the table in front of him before continuing. "That took me a while to collect the material to make it. Keep it." He stated.
"Don't worry about us, give it to someone that needs it more then I. I can take of us." I replied leaning back into my seat.
"I'm not going to take something we don't need from anyone. Its not right." I said turning to my head to my left.
"The only item that would be helpful right now that we can't find is for breathing underwater." I said to the empty chair to my left before leaning back into my chair.
"Again , I appreciate the offer but don't the elixir." I told him again before closing my eyes and putting a toothpick in between my teeth.
I heard the char creak as Zack leaned back into his chair. "Breath Underwater" He asked before I heard a book hit the table shortly after.
"That is what you heard ain't it? Found some water I want to explore." I replied as I heard him flipping through the pages of his book.
As he continued to flipped through the book he spoke up. "That's not point. I remember reading about something that can be made to help with breathing underwater." He stated before closing the book before turning some pages.
I opened my eyes and quickly leaned forward. "If you are serious about that existing, I would like to help get the items need to make some." I told him.
'Might finally be able to actually start exploring area 5.' I thought to myself after hearing his statement about the item to breath underwater.
"If I make it for you, will you let that be payment back for helping me? He stated as he looked over to me from his book.
"Yeah. We will be even afterwards. I replied to him as I extend my hand out towards him for a handshake.
"Deal!" He stated as he shakes my hand.
"Now then what do we need?" I asked now that the agreement had been established.
He got a little nervous it sounded like in his voice as he started to speak.
"Most of these monsters I haven't even heard of. A couple I know are in Area 4, but I haven't ventured in that far. he said as he looked over the pages in his book.
Upon hearing Area 4, a smirk came across my lips. Would be interesting to see how this Zack character who is ranked third can do in a fight. "That won't be problem and sounds like some fun." I told him before looking to my left.
"It's getting late so lets me up tomorrow morning to begin our trek to Area 4. Sounds good?" I asked him after determining roughly what time it was.
"Sounds good" I hear him replied as he shifted a bit in his chair. "Do you think you could give me your full name and I'll message you the list of material so we both have a copy?" He asked as I prepared to stand from my seat.
I didn't want to give him my full name and have him change his mine after he realized who I was. Besides I rather have paper anyway, work better.
"Call me old school, but I prefer a paper version." I Answered as I stood up stretching slightly. "9'o clock out front here?" I asked I started to make my way around the table.
"It'll go to your inventory either way but I can make a paper copy for you." Zack replied as he closed his book.
I grabbed my helmet and push the second chair in as I started to walk away.
"Night Sig." I heard Zack state to me as I left.
I made my way through the inn trying to get to the stairs. As I wondered I caught a familiar face sitting at the bar. It was Yuki. I guess she was still trying to find her courage go get back into the fight. I made my way to her then heard her talking with someone else.
"Show that your fight and will is back, then I will join you." I said to her and the companion next to her as i walked by slowly not stopping.
I left the bar area and made it up to my room for the night. Tomorrow is the start to finally be able to see what is below in that water.
