Walking around her office cleaning and picking up, Nori thought to herself about the events of the day that were reported to her.
Why was I instructed to stay in my office during the sentencing for 10th Division; 8th Seat Ashimitsu Tsukiro and the Seraph? That order was unwarranted, but I’m pleased that I presented my evidence to Captain Commander and Central 46 almost a week before the sentencing. I’m not sure after what I heard it really helped in the fact of the matter. But it was not like my voice went unheard. I did get to say my piece.
*sighs*
At least I hope Central 46 was listening. However, even if I wanted to I could not stepped up in the defence of the young man, Ashimitsu. I knew little of him and his previous actions with the Seraph. Though, I cannot say that his actions were unwarranted. I could see the young boy truly cared for the Seraph and I am sure no matter his sentencing he would do it over and over again just to keep her with him.
I feel for the boy I am sure his heart breaks at the thought of what will happen to the Seraph in the next three days, but I am sure he is glad that he will not have to be here to witness it. Everyone here will be walking on eggshells and the day of the execution will be the worst. So many are worried the Gods will not take kindly to this. Where Central 46 believes the Gods will be pleased that the Seraph is finally freed of her new form and Sousuke. Then there is the Guardian. The rumor around the Gotei 13 is he told the Captain Commander to keep her alive. With this judgment I am sure he will not be pleased in the slightest.
*sighs picking up a book from the inn table next to my reading chair*
I fear the worst myself in all this. For the intel I have collected on the Gods and the Seraph. This is not going to fare well with any of them. Gods and Guardian alike.
*lifts book to put away on shelf as something falls from between the pages*
