Oh noes!
I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to Anime Club tonight. We've got family visiting over the weekend and such and I might be busy this evening. So, if I'm not around at 6:30 PM PST (9:30 PM EST), someone else feel free to start the chat. Gome, Shin, anybody... anybody... Bueller...?

I'm sure most people have already seen this linked in the chat but I have to post it here anyway:
As soon as I saw that scene in Tales of the Abyss ep7, I knew I had to extract it to mercilessly Jaderoll Gome with. It was just too perfect.
In other news, I went through my ImageShack account just now and tagged all my images. So now you can sort them by anime, video game, specific series, etc. Finding stuff I'd previously uploaded was getting to be a pain, what with the ever-increasing number of images in my account, but this should alleviate the problem.
Last night I also got Adam to fix the bug with sorting World posts by tag. Now, when you click one of those shiny links up in the intro to view only posts with that tag, you'll be able to browse through all the pages of posts instead of having the page nav links reset the tag filter. So yay for that.
Proper categorization makes Index happy.

Dagger and I's version of Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ep1 is finally done and released. You can grab the torrent for it on AniRena. I don't have much upload bandwidth, though, so until I get a full copy seeded it won't download very fast. Enjoy!
Purely Platonic
Since Shin and TimeChaser did it, I started wondering who'd I put in a man-harem of my own. So, of course, I put one together. But, unlike Shin, this one had a lot fewer contenders than my other two.
If you can't tell from my picks themselves, the indifferent smartass and flirtatious playboy types amuse me. Zelgadis, Tomoya, and somewhat Leon fall into the first category while Baroqueheat, Shuichi, Takumi, and somewhat Fay fall into the second. Leon is kind of a male tsundere who actually annoyed me the first time I watched Kaleido Star but then grew on me my second time through. (Plus his hair is awesome.) Shannon is more the quiet badass type with a sister complex who practically takes on the world in her defense. And Fay is just all kinds of fun.
By the way, the Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei subs are coming along nicely. I'm about half way done with the typesetting and should finish by next weekend. If all goes well, I'm hoping to release around the 12th.
gg released a sub of it yesterday but it looks like it's missing a lot of typesetting and they instead opted to go with external notes for the rest of the text. Their release is also cropped a little more than my encode, but otherwise they look nearly identical. Not a bad release at all, as expected from gg, but ours will have nearly every little bit of text translated and typeset.
Tsundere <3
It seems that everyone is doing it, so I decided to put together an anime harem of my own. Three of the eight girls below immediately came to mind but it was amusing to browse through my anime list on ANN and pick out five more from the the shows I've seen.
There's two main personality types in here. Akari, Hagumi, Chihiro, and Belldandy are all incredibly sweet, caring, and gentle. On the other hand, Kagami, Kyou, and Mei are all kind of the sarcastic tsundere types. And then there's Horo, who is just all kinds of awesome; she acts so playful and innocent but is actually incredibly intelligent and clever.
Also...
I put together a harem of forbidden lolis because they're just too great. They all have their own little quirks that set them apart and make them oh-so-adorable and funny... Which I don't really feel like going into right now. But if you watch the series they're from you will see. Especially Aria and Kaleido Star.
