I walked down the route to the next town. Missy laughed happily behind me, giving me funney ears, antlers, and other objects from pokemon. Suddenly a pokemon walked into my path. It was a Murkrow, but something about it wasn't normal. It called on a move that caused dark clouds to swirl over head.
"Go, Missy!" I pointed to the strange pokemon. "Use Astonish!" She dissapeared from sight into the dark surroundings. The Murkrow looked around, suspicious. Missy appeared by by its left shoulder.
"BOO!" she shrieked. It jumped up, and slammed its head into a branch that Missy was holding above its head. Before it could recover, and since it was greatly weakened, I threw a empty pokeball at it. The ball shook around violently, and I held my breath for those long five seconds. Finally the ball clicked, and I caught the Murkrow. Just then, a boy with a pichu walked toward me.
"Uh, hi," I said awkwardly. "I'm Zoey". I just remembered that I had to name the Murkrow. I took out a marker and wrote "Krow" on the pokeball.
