If you like broadway musicals, rock music, and superhero comics, here's something for you! December 21, 2010 will mark the opening night for the theatrical broadway rock musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark". The musical itself will feature music and lyrics by Bono (from U2) and The Edge with Reeve Carney (lead singer of CARNEY) to play the part of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Patrick Page playing the part of Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. According to Julie Taymor, this musical will feature Spider-Man battle not only familiar Comic book supervillians, but also villains craeted specially fot the show (including one called "Swiss Miss").
Previews for the show will be held at the Foxwoods Theater (213 West 42nd Street in Manhattan) on November 14. For more info on the msuical, visit spidermanonbroadway.marvel.com.
