DarlingV post:

Hello, my friends, and thanks for deciding to read my first post on my friends world. oh, and hello Reaper!
okay, so there is roughly 2 weeks till holidays and then? 1 week till Christmas! so in total, we have roughly 21 days left to write up wish lists, write up the cards, draw some Kris Cringle stuff and enjoy the nice weather. okay, forget the last one. we're either really cold and snowy (England and all the other snowy places) or we're gonna cook in our thongs and flip flops (I mean you Australia and the other few countries who never get snow. EVER)
well, putting the weather aside, what about decorating our trees and garden? I have alotta plantation at the front of my place- plenty of room to put baubles and lights and all that shiny stuff. we even threw water balloons at our neighbours! they are adorable little kids, between 1 and 5. the older one (btw they are both boys) threw balloon mainly at me. he even had a water pistol and kept squirting it at my back. went all the way down... horrible feeling!
the little guy was adorable. he decided that water balloons were delicious, so he tried to eat them. they just popped in his mouth, but he was having a great time.
so their mum joined in, then the dad came back from work to have a shower and get his hair cut. he hated decorations and water balloons, so it was a mistake to come out. get this- he's a really big, muscular guy who could probably pop your head off if necessary. so what do we do?
throw water balloons at him.
so I gave him 4 or so, and he threw them at his kids feet. adorable!
so, afterwards, we had ice-cream and we put the decorations up. we had to bury the plastic sparkly light up Santa in all the good soil we had (turns out he had a stand behind him). we put lights on this big bush we have at front. they were really pretty baubles that lit up. then we put little lights at the side of the pathway (We even put 2 on our neighbours side. the big guy was cool with it). by the time we were finished with it, it was becoming night. the thing is, though, they were all solar powered, so we had to wait for 48 hours for it to charge.
so now we wait for my father to put the lights on the roof. been a week roughly. oh well, he's only disappointing a kid or 2, right? no. it's not right, but oh well.
so we plan to do the tree on the weekend, and my mum is getting new sparkles and stuff to put on the tree, so we are getting REALLY decorative this year. so what are you guys doing for Christmas?
