Now years have gone by and they are a happy family of 5, with the oldest a girl age 7. The King knew his time would come and he needed a heir. So he married a Queen from 2kingdoms down and she bore him a son. But when the son was 6, the King found out the Queen was a halfing and was ashamed that his son was not pure. The King then remembered his daughter and was blistering fury that the impure one was his son and last in line. He cursed the boy, that for any children that come from his bloodline, the cursed child will bear a symbol and that one will be the one enemy of the cursed child of the Princess. Now the boy is 10 and the eldest daughter is 17 and both don't know until the parents tell them. The Princess's daughter worries for the child and hopes for their safety. The boy damns his father for cursing him and sees his distant sister and cousins as the enemy and when his cursed one comes, he hopes to be avenged.
