Guess I'd better make a post about this one... I think we have a good time for the Sakura-Con Meet-up:
1:00pm on Saturday, March 29.
I think this would be a good time. For quick reference, though, the main events/panels at this time are:
- The Cosplay Contest Rehearsal
- J-Rock Panel
- The Roland Kelts and M. Alice LeGrow Panel
- One of the Tea Ceremonies
- The Aki Tsunaki Autograph Session
- The Antarctic Press Industry Panel
- The Wapanese For Weeaboos Panel (if this causes conflict for people I'm gonna go hit my head against the wall)
Those look to be the main things happening at or during 1pm. And, if we start at 1, then it gives us all an hour an a half before the Ali Project concert at 2:30pm!
As for where we'll all meet... I'm thinking the same place as last year would be good, in the lounge area just inside the main entrance. There's room to sit, it's not too crowded or noisy, and it's easy to find.
Does that sparkle with everyone?
So far I'm counting... about ten, maybe eleven people coming to the meet-up. But by all means, bring your friends! We've got a lot of stuff to give away. Also, we may or may not need to make another small contest for "who can bring the largest posse" or something...
Umm... worry about the time/place suggestion first.
