I'm glad it was her...

A couple of days later...

“I don’t know why I’m being so emotional!” I yelled, letting the tears fall. It all started when Nagisa asked me to be her maid of honor. I was so happy I just started crying. Nagisa wanted me to be her maid of honor! It was the best feeling in the world…one of the best.
Once I was the official maid of honor, I started to get…excited. Planning a wedding was fun. The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful, the maid of honor’s dress slightly different, but beautiful all the same. The other bridesmaids were Ryou, Tomoyo, and Kotomi. Nagisa had one extra brides maid’s dress, and I had a feeling like I knew who it was for, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Nagisa’s dress…it was beautiful. Simple, but gorgeous. The most beautiful wedding dress I had ever seen. Besides mine of course. It had spaghetti straps with a sash tied around right under her breasts. The sash was in a bow in the back, an adorable bow, and the sash was a sort of crème color. The dress itself was all covered in tulle, but it wasn’t poofy. It was just a beautiful texture. It dragged on the floor, (like most wedding dresses) and the way it fit Nagisa was breathtaking. She was going to wear a vale, but it was simple, not ornate, perfect with the dress. The bridesmaid dresses were light pink with simple spaghetti straps. They were silk, with a sheer slip over the top. There was a white sash right under the breast line. My sash was purple, and my flowers were multicolored, versus the white flowers carried by the other bridesmaids. All the bridesmaids wore their hair up in a bun, with small strands hanging in the front. Nagisa loved the way my hair piece looked with the style, so all of the bride’s maids wore one! I was so happy that I made a personal contribution to the wedding. The wedding itself was outdoors, on the beach. As the final vows were said, I couldn't help but let one small tear trickle down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away, hoping nobody saw. It reminded me of that time during the tennis game, when I had let a single tear fall. It was different this time though. This time I was happy. Overjoyed. As they kissed, I could feel Youhei watching me, when I looked at him he mouthed,
“You look beautiful.” I smiled and blushed, noticing that all of the other bridesmaids saw. None of them were married. Tomoyo was dating someone whose name escaped me. They were perfect for eachother, and I believe that someday they will settle down, but for now they were still young and in wild and passionate love. Ryou hadn’t even gone out on a date since Tomoya and Nagisa got together, and I believed she might not ever get over it. But she will, I know her. Kotomi was too focused on her job of being some sort of scientist, I forget what it was, trying to be as great as her parents. There was someone else…Who? When I saw Kouko Ibuki and her husband in the crowd, I remembered. Fuko! Then I saw her. Standing next to me in the extra bridesmaid’s dress was Fuko Ibuki. She smiled when she saw me looking. Nagisa saw her too and gasped. Tomoya saw her and he almost cried, I could tell. And for that one small moment, everyone saw her. Kouko began crying, and her husband sat there shocked. It was a wedding miracle. Everyone hugged her, and she gave the newlywed couple a starfish carving.
“Thank you.” They each told her, and she nodded. Then she began to disappear, and everything went back to normal, everyone forgot. After the ceremony there was the first dance, and then more dancing, and food and cake and it was just wonderful! Although back then I had always wished he would have chose me, I was glad he didn’t. If he did, none of us would be here in our wonderful lives. I had the greatest life in the world, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything, not even a life with Tomoya. Nagisa was happy, and everyone was happy. And out of everyone Tomoya could have picked, I finally reached the point where I was glad it was her.
