I'm glad it was her...

As they limped away, I couldn't help but let one small tear trickle down my cheek. I really thought I had a chance. I quickly wiped it away, hoping nobody saw. Now that the small interruption was over, it was time for the game of tennis to resume. I clapped my hands together and yelled,
"Alright everyone, shows over, time to get back to business!" Everyone returned to their seats, and Tomoyo and her opponent resumed their positions on the court. After the small incident, the tennis game was utterly boring. Tomoyo crushed her opponent, so there was no suspense. I sighed when it was over. Everyone eventually left, but I stayed in my seat, staring into space. I mean, what chances did I ever really have? It had always been her. The shy, quiet one...The actress...Nagisa. Now that everyone was gone, I let it all out. Tears streamed down my face like a waterfall, and I buried my face in my hands. "It's so unfair." I muttered quietly. Then, I heard a footstep. My head snapped up.
"Who's there?" I asked firmly, my voice breaking. I hoped it was no one I knew, my image would be ruined. A small purple haired girl timidly walked out from where she was hiding.
"Kyou...I...I didn't know...I didnt even think, I only thought of myself!" She blurted out. Without trying to stop myself, I ran over and hugged her. I cried into her shoulder, and she cried into mine.
"I'm sorry!" We both yelled inbetween sobs. I pulled away, looked at her, and wiped away her tears. She smiled and I couldn’t help but laugh. She blushed and was about to say something but I stopped her.
“We’re so silly! Standing here crying over some guy! C’mon sis, all we need is us two!” She smiled as I winked, and we walked off hand in hand. Even though I loved Ryou more than anything in the world, I couldn’t help but wish that he had chose me. I started to feel guilty about it, but I stopped myself when I realized something. She’s thinking the exact same thing.
