Reflections and Beyond

2009 is almost over, and we welcome 2010. You know, 2010 sounded so futuristic back in the early 1990s, but then again so did 2000. (Where's out jetpacks, science!? We need them so we can fly screaming overhead when we go to work in the uranium clouds on the moon.)

I noticed some best of the decade lists here and there, and I'm going to make one as well. However, it's not exactly limited to things that were released in 2000-2009; it may have things that I became acquainted with in 2000-2009. That means that if I first saw or read something in 2006, but it was released in, say, 1987 it'll be on the list. (Most books I've read are by people long since dead.) That said, I'll first list things released in this decade, then list older stuff second. Let's get on with it, then.
