Eternal Combat

The lifeless eyes
Show nothing
But the cries
Of the fallen.

All that was created by you,
Has bid thee adieu.
All those loyal to thee,
Loyal to death,
Not loyal to me.
Each took their final breath
On the plagues of sorrow
Heralding the morrow
That for them, will not come.

Entrusting all you had to the flame
As if life were a game.
A gamble taken without care,
Why did you dare?
To become one with thy
Brother, veiled, ever sly.
Peace that he once knew,
Destruction for you.

The Fallen Angel of doom,
Fought the Dark Devil from the tomb,
Drenched in revival.
Each completed the test of survival,
But failed to complete the means
Upon which peace and destruction leans.
Again and again the two tried,
One died
And was reborn,
No longer forlorn.
Encased in rage
At the highest stage
Of violence known,
Wings of lightning were flown.
The lightning burst from spear to lance,
In a deadly dance
Of death not giving in.
Into the wolf's den,
Onto the plain,
Torn into a world of pain.

Abel, slain
And then left was Cain.
Wanting all into the void,
As if he was paranoid.
Revival
Was the key to Earth's survival.
The lifeblood of the advent angel
Returned to Abel,
Giving him the label
Of violence unleashed with hate.
The good devil,
The evil angel.

Abel for light,
Cain, in all his might.
Both fell to Earth,
A new era was birthed.
One hiding in the black,
Another searching in the temporarily lack
Of war.
One day, gore
Will be falling from one
An eternal battle done.
Will it be Cain
Or Abel who causes the pain?
For dark or light,
The winner of the fight
Will achieve all goals.
