Beyond it All

“Kazuki!” Hito's voice called as the blond haired man rushed to catch up with the other man he had called out to. The other man seemed to stop upon hearing his name be called, and Hito managed to catch up with him. “Good you’re here,” Hito said aloud looking at the man who appeared to have just come back from somewhere. “Have you heard Sei-sama’s orders?”

“What orders?” Kazuki answered back as though uninterested. Hito resisted the urge to add the worry into his voice. Sei would not be too pleased if things weren't ready by the time everyone arrived.

“Sei-sama has sent out flyers requesting for an alliance with both humans and Bond Keepers," Hito answered back keeping his voice level as to not cause any confusion on his wording. Kazuki seemed to nod to himself in surprise.

“Seriously? No joke?” the redish-brown haired man asked back.

“I wouldn’t joke about something like this, Kazuki.” Hito answered back shaking his head before returning his gaze. There was still so much preparation work needing to be done.

“Alright!” Kazuki answered back suddenly seeming to bulk up muscularly. “It’s about time! When do we get to kill some Shadows already?” Hito laughed nervously before nodding a bit.

"But we need to get things ready for those that are arriving," Hito finished. Kazuki seemed to deflate a bit but managed to keep his face up.

"Alright, so what do ya need me to do?" Kazuki asked.

"Help me sent up the tables and the food and everything," Hito answered back. Kazuki appeared to raise his eyebrow for a fraction before shrugging his shoulders, nodding, and starting to help the blond haired man get things ready. There was much to be expected right then and there.

Sei sighed to himself and finished looking over the last of the work that he would have to get done and then looked at the clock to find that it was already pretty late. Those that were arriving should either be there by then or be coming in the morning maybe. Either way, it was time to greet those that had come. Rising, the general like man sighed again before moving out from behind his desk and then out of his office.

Walking starkly down the hallway, Sei caught sight of those that were entering the main lobby area. There were not as many as he had expected, or rather hoped in this case, but he reminded himself that it was still early in time, and things would get rolling soon enough. Moving to the front of the lobby, Sei found that everything he had asked for from Hito had been completed. In all honesty, Sei did not expect anything less from Hito.

Finally moving to stand in front of the room, Sei-Ryoku Kou stood forwards and looked at those that had entered. Hito, not far off seemed to sigh to himself before starting to pay attention again. Kazuki who had positioned himself on the other side of the room probably more or less mingling with those that had come in was now standing comfortably waiting to see what would happen. A silence seemed to eat into the room.

"Welcome," Sei began with a strong voice that could give anyone in the room a whirl of confidence. Yes, Sei was rather known for the air that he put on around groups. It was neither intimidating nor overly weak but something one could pay attention to with ease. "My name is Sei-Ryoku Kou, and I believe all of you have come because you believe as much as I do that this war between the Shadows and the humans and Bond-Keepers must end. I know many of you have traveled rather far or have used some strenuous method to get here, and I thank you even more then for coming. As for today, we are still awaiting more comers, but feel free to relax and enjoy yourself. Mingle as you will and note that there are food areas present. This night is for celebration for the new Bond-Keepers that have decided to join this war. Your rooms will be provided for tonight, and if you have any questions, please direct them to Hito." The masculine silver haired man made a direction arm motion to Hito who more or less jumped at being called upon before rubbing the back of his neck and acting a fraction nervous.

I figured it'd be easier just to get them all together, so now everyone should be in HQ.
