Due to a week away and a week of playing with my new laptop, I've failed to pay attention to this particular duty of mine. Hopefully, I can now spam the hell out of everyone. Ha.
BONES Addresses "Leaked Document"
An anonymous file on a free file-sharing website has many people wonderingconfused as to upcoming projects from the anime studio Bones since late last week. The document, an Excel sheet claiming to be a managerial document, complete with animation staff names, their supposed phone numbers, affiliations and availability, as well as comments suggesting that new Fullmetal Alchemist and Darker than BLACK movies are being prepared for.
Masahiko Minami, Bones's president, released a statement Sunday claiming that a "third party" has most likely created and released the document without any aid from actual company documents. The company sees the document as potential libel and plans to take severe action once the perpitrator is found.
As for the "new movie projects" from the document, there is still a possibility. The decision has yet to be made, according to Minami. He expressed interest, yet is unsure about the projects themselves. More of this specific intereview is to be released later.

Initial Geneon Re-Releases
FUNimation has announced their release dates for select titles in their Geneon acquisition:
Black Lagoon season one and Second Barrage volume 1 and Elemental Gelade volume 1 will hit shelves on August 19.
Karin volumes 1-4 and Kyo Kara Maoh season 2 volumes 1-7 will hit on September 2.
A Shakugan no Shana complete boxed set retailing at $69.98 will debut on September 16.
Black Lagoon Second Barrage volume 2, a Fate/stay night boxed set, Hellsing Ultimate volumes 1-4 in regular and limited editions, and a $49.98 Rozen Maiden boxed set will debut on September 16.
Kamichu and Paradise Kiss complete sets will be released on September 23 at $49.98 each.
When They Cry volumes 1-4 will be re-released on September 30.
