Yeah I have heard of this!!! We are even talking about in my class. I hope they find the plane... it just seems so sad for the families

I had heard about that incident.
It was speculated that it was a terrorist act, but I doubt it. Ground Control would've heard the chaos or something, and just not being able to find it really stumped me too.

I first thought, "Did they go over the Bermuda Triangle and become another statistic?" but nobody I knew my mom works @ CNN so I asked her had known where it was going.
I don't like to think of things like that, I enjoy flying, but still I wonder what explanation they can give for this story.

I read the article. My best guess (a wild one) is that the plane got hijacked by the 2 people who had stolen passports, somehow slowly landed the plane and made it trend water, covered the engine so it doesn't get wet and make the whole plane explode, and tried to sink the plane enough so it's right under the surface. And they're going to keep it there until the search party gives up and one of the hijackers will take over the plane and fly it to Germany.

The Bermuda triangle is the best excuse I can come up with, and the plane didnt disappear anywhere close to Bermuda :/
