Edward Cullen

I just decided to write an essay about Edward Cullen. There are some things I just don't understand. So, let's get started!

-----
OKay, so, in the books, Edward says that once someone is turned into a vampire, they are frozen. Nothing changes about them, at all. And, all changes are permanent.

Do you think that is true? Do you really think Edward was like that as a human? He mentions how he had always dreamed of being in the war. He doesn't seem like that now. I just can't see Edward acting like himself as a human.

Edward is very prone to overeaction. I mean, take New Moon for example. Edward goes over the top and leaves Bella over a small little paper cut. She didn't get killed. It probably wouldn't have ever happened again. So, he overeacted.

Another example is in Breaking Dawn. (PS, if you haven't read Breaking Dawn-- STOP READING THIS!!! It contains spoilers for Breaking Dawn.) When Bella made the assumption she was pregnant, Edward completely froze up and went into shock.

I just can't believe he would do something like that if he was a human. Well, obviously Edward wouldn't have to worry about Bella dying from a paper cut. But, honestly, if it were the case, I don't believe Edward would have just left like that. Also, I would think, from the information Edward told Bella in Eclipse, he wouldn't be so freaked that she was pregnant. He seemed like he would have been, well, happy.

So, I honestly don't believe that people completely freeze when they are changed. Thank you for your time.
