I AM SO FLIPPIN' LUCKY!!!

To those who want the fanfic, I am almost done the prolouge so that should sedate you. But big news! I was recently on a hike for Boy Scouts and my dad and I stopped on a bridge to eat lunch when this guy comes up in a truck. He says he wanted to do some fishing but didn't look like he was catching anything since there was no fish. Darn. Then he drops the bomb. He said he worked for a quarry just down the road and his quarry is currently rented out to Paramount Pictures as a set. I thought Cool. But, uh, plenty movies come around here for filming. To list a few - Witness, The Sixth Sense, Signs, National Treasure...heck, in 2007, MovieMaker Magazine named Philly the second best place to make a movie and we host two international film festivals. You get the picture. Before we left to check it out, the same man said the movie's name sounded like "Aba-no, Albacore." Goodie, a documentary about tuna. And you film in a dead dry quarry because? Well, we checked it out and yes, Paramount Pictures was there. Granted, no one was around. But if they were, we be shoved out before we could meet De- I mean, the stars. So I just found out the movie. Albacore? No, not even in the ballpark. How about Avatar? Yeah, let's go with that. And you're thinking Wait, did he say Avatar? Yes, I said Avatar: The Last Airbender. (how did he sneak in there?) As you know, M. Night Shyamalan is heading production. When he creates a movie, he likes to keep it local. He lives in Bryn Mawr (town on the outskirts of Philly) btw. So, YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! And I saw the set and it looks nice. I mean, really nice. I was actually thinking of running down there now and asking if I could be an extra. Then you can all ask me for an autograph when it wins an Academy Award for Best Extra in a movie. Ah, wishful thinking. So how did you spend your weekend?
