EduNewbie Chapter 1

EduNewbie Chapter 1 "The New Kid"
"Watchout Nerd!" says a voice behind me. Yep I'm the Nerd, the stranger, or what many people might call "The New Kid" There's nothing ever specialabout the new kid. The only new kids who ever get attention are the forgine exchange students. Those lucky bastards. I'm from Springfield Illinois. Andyou'll never guess where I am now. Not cool places like Italy, Russia, India. Not California, or France. I'm in the place I least want to be at. I'm now stuck here in Japan. Yes, people might say "what are you talking about, Japan is cool." I know it is, it's just, THIS IS THE OTAKU CENTRAL OF THE WORLD!!! I don't even think I could contain myself. That's one advantage. I'm Japanese American. I am also a very rare mix of Indian, German, French, Dutchblood. Yep I'm a rare breed aren't I? That's puts off one disadvantage. In Japan, I sort of feel like a half blood Asian mix. I'm now surrounded by a whole bunch of Japanese people. I don't even know Japanese. The few things I do know in Japanese is Hello, goodbye, indigestion, idiot, stupid, princess, the color black, where’s my pouch, death angels ect. This whole thing started because my motherhad to take that promotion. Now I'm stuck here for a while. I have to spend allmy learning time at a weird unfamiliar waste land called "Yamamoto PrivateHigh school"

Since I'm new everyone here seems to get my presence. How they stare at me.Uhhh It freaks me out. The question keeps on roaming in my head. WHO IN THE HELL GETS A PROMOTION SO DAMN FAR?! I try to keep intact with my friends backhome on Myzone.com and Facebook.com. At least the internet is reliable. Earliermy mom had told me "Johnny honey please, just try to adjust to our bigmove, Were going to be staying here for a while. Try at least to get newfriends." I don't get her sometimes. And then there’s my father John Sr. has to go on his own business trip all the way in Germany. I don't mind Germanyat all but, then again I can't really understand myself for staying here with mom her in Japan. Oh yeah, I forgot once again that it is the Otaku central ofthe world. Yes I'm a huge nerd when it comes to Japanese and African culture. I have a katana on my wall in my room. But no matter how much, Japan is already starting to get me excited, I still miss my old school.

Back at my old school, we had a wear whatever you want dress code. Not at this tyrant school of educational imprisonment.I have to wear the colors of red, white, gray or black for the school uniform. And it gets even better I have to wear the school's logo initials on this redsweater I have to wear. I even have to wear a tie!!! My mother said that I would most likely get a better education here, than I did at my other school. To me that means more assignments, projects, experiments, and HOMEWORK to worry about. Yep mom just what I needed. But still I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I mean look at all the cute girls here!!! When it comes to the students that go here, I see many short people, one or two tall people, I also see some scary, hairy, serious, fat people in this school. When I watch anime I see girls with skirts really short, and panty worthy. No I am not a pervert, but just, a regular 15 year old guy. I'm5"8". Black hair brown eyes. I have some relatives that live outhere, like my aunt Emily,, my cousin Sora, my uncle Kenichi which is my dad’syounger brother, my other cousin Akira, and my grandfather. My dad's father moved out here when I turned 12. It's been three years and I would like to visit him some time. He owns a popular restaurantwith the name of Lau's Chinese Cuisine. It's kind of odd how he once told me that he was going to fulfill his dream of making a successful restaurant after himself. Lau isn't his real name. But I guess It wouldn't of became such a hit if it was named "James Alexanderson" He first got the idea when Grandma died. I was six years old at the time. It was their dream to open arestaurant. My grandfather asked me at her funeral "Are you going to be meand your grandmother's first employee at our restaurant?" I paused for a second, and then nodded while wiping my eyes.

So I made a promise. I’m already goingto be working there soon for extra money anyway, so I'm happy about keep my promise. My grandfather can also help me with speaking Japanese. He may be Japanese American, but he can speak Japanese very fluently. As well as other languages, English not counted.

As I began to walk down the big hallways of the school I noticed other forgineexchange students other than me. Everybody, who happened to notice or walk bythem were all smiles. They helped them with schedules too. Lucky bastards. I muttered under my breath. Soon, a guy with sunglasses on handed me a schedule."You'll need this kid." he said. I turned around to thank him, but when I looked, he was gone. "What the heck was that?" END Chapter 1
