Hourou Musuko - Anime Review

Another review for you guys! ^^ Hopefully I won't be so busy this week, so I can finish up the spring series! Enjoy!

Title - Hourou Musuko

Alternative Title - Wandering Son

Episodes
- 11

My Rating - 6

Genres - Drama, Romance

Themes - Crossdressing, School

Plot Summary
- Shuicihi Nitori appears to be a shy and quiet preteen boy, when he transfers to a new school he quickly makes friends with the tomboyish Yoshino Takatsuki who sits next to him. It soon becomes apparent that both Shucihi and Yoshino are more than simply a sensitive boy and masculine girl, they both are transgendered. Together they decide to take the first steps toward becoming the people they want to be.

My First Impression - Alright, so, I didn't really enjoy this anime... I don't have anything against crossdressing, but the main plot of this story was shown in a very vague and scattered way. Transitions between scenes were terrible, so I couldn't really tell the difference between memories or the present. The concept of the series seems to be inspiring, and while the graphics weren't amazing, I still found them enjoyable. The voice acting was alright, but most of the voice actors are completely new to this business, so I felt that they weren't great. An overall mediocre series, and I really wouldn't recommend it unless you are interested in these types of themes.
