Naoyuki soon comes into contact with his cousin, Kazunori Seido, who, along with his sister, Mizue is the only one willing to help him find his parents.
When the siblings' father finds out what they are doing, he turns on Naoyuki. With no other options open, Naoyuki takes his parents' address and a map and sets out to find them, joining up with Haruko and Kotaro along the way.
