Won Rei

Won Lei is Li-en's mamodo and a Kung Fu master. He appears to be the oldest of the rest of the other mamodos, even though he is only 14 years old, the same age as Brago.

He is in love with Li-en, and is worried for her safety, so he tells her that he hates her in hopes that she'll leave him alone and not get hurt in the mamodo battles.

Zofis

Zofis is a mamodo who helped Koko, Sherry's friend, to get revenge on the city that she suffered in. Zofis also controlled Koko so he can be mamodo king.

Zofis, under the guise of a mamodo called Milordo-Z, attempts to get Zatch and Kiyo to fight his side, as he collected and released the millennium mamodos that were sealed away in stone a thousand years ago to create an army, but he needed someone to help him lead them into battle.
It has been speculated that Zofis is female in the Japanese version, however, creator Makoto Raiku apparently states that Zofis is indeed male.

Koko

Koko used to be Sherry's closest friend. She was a very happy, kind hearted person who tried hard not to feel depressed with life. When Sherry tried to drown herself due to her mothers' harsh words, Koko saved her. She encouraged Sherry to not throw her life away when times were harsh because there's always light at the end of the darkness.

Since Koko was poor, she lived out in the streets trying to make a living. She even had to steal for money and food. Despite Koko growing up in poverty while Sherry was rich, the two helped each other out in their lives. When Koko was finally accepted into a college, she met a mamodo named Zofis who told her that he could help her get back at all the people who abused her in life. Zofis then used his special powers to control Koko's heart and make her think that hurting others was fun.

Koko was now a very cold-hearted girl, yet still seemed to be happy with her life due to her warped feelings. She proceeded to burn her own town and attempted to kill her friend Sherry. Afterwards, she and Zofis left and began to formulate a plan that would make Zofis the mamodo king. Zatch and Kiyo learn this evil plan and have to stop Koko and Zofis before they destroy any more lives. Elsewhere, Sherry proceeds to defeat more mamodo teams with Brago and is desperately searching for her old friend so she can free her heart from the darkness.

Suzy

Suzy is Kiyo's classmate at school and seems to have a crush on him. Before Zatch came into Kiyo's life; Suzy would always talk to him even though Kiyo would throw rude comment at her. She always tried to be his friend, since in her eyes everyone around him hated him for being smart, and for acting like he was better then everyone else. Suzy is also the next person Zatch befriends after Kiyo!

Suzy likes drawing faces on any fruit she can find, she even brought Kiyo a basket full of fruit when he was in the hospital. She hardly ever misses a day of school and she really gets on Kiyo's nerves sometimes.

Suzy is a bit of a ditz and klutz, and is totally blind to events going on around her at times. Later in the show she had won a trip to Hong Kong and ended up in London, England, were Kiyo and Zatch were looking for Dr. Takamine, Kiyo's father. And the sad thing is, she never even realized that she wasn't in Hong Kong!

Suzy also can get really upset and start crying if anyone, especially Kiyo, breaks a promise to her or says something really insulting. She can also get really jealous when she sees Kiyo with another woman, like Megumi for instance.

Sherry Bellmond

Sherry is a girl who was born into a rich and powerful family. Her mother took pride in the family name and always expected Sherry to excel at everything. She pushed her daughter as hard as possible and abused her whenever she didn't do things right. When Sherry couldn't take any more pain, she attempted to commit suicide by jumping off a high bridge into a river. She was then saved by a poor girl named Koko, who told her never to give up on her life and to always search for happiness.

When Sherry grew older, she did the best she could to help her friend Koko in life. But one day, Sherry discovered Koko had burned her own town because an mamodo named Zofis took control of her heart to make her evil. Zofis and Koko attempted to destroy Sherry, but she was saved by a dark mamodo named Brago. Sherry had to become the reader of Brago's spellbook and fights alongside him in the mamodo battle.

Despite being a fighter in the battle, Sherry's personal goals are to end the battle (when Brago becomes the mamodo king) and restore her friend Koko back to the kind, caring person she once was. She has a very strong determination and a fierce fighting spirit and will not let anyone interfere with her mission. She, Brago, and her butler Jii travel all over the world in search of mamodo teams to wipe out, hoping to find and defeat Zofis in the process.
