Elvara’s tale
Its March 2, 2009 and a girl named Elvara was out in the woods in Newcastle Indiana. She is moving today and was taking a last look around. She really loves the woods. She heard her mom calling so she went back to the house and got in the car. It was a 4 hour drive from Newcastle to Madison, but in the end it all worth it. When they finally got to her new home she was trilled to see that it had woods nearby too. Her mom told her that they are called the Clifty Falls Woods. So she decided to go exploring. She walked for a while and was exited by the new environment. But in the middle of her excitement she saw a boy half a mile away. He was on the ground and covered in blood. She could tell he had gotten beat up. She ran to him and tried to help. She got water from a nearby creek and started to wash the blood off of him. She was cleaning his neck when she found two fresh bite marks. What had happened to him she wondered. Soon after she cleaned his neck he woke up. He saw her, jumped up, and ran away.
The next day was the first day of school for her here. She is 13 so she is in 8th grade. But as she walked into Mrs. Burns homeroom she saw the boy. He was apparently hiding from her so she didn’t talk to him. But she couldn’t help staring at his Sun bleached blond hair, sapphire eyes, and snow white skin. She realized that all his cuts were gone except the bite marks on his neck. What had happened to him? What is he? At that moment a girl came up to her and introduced herself as Derek. Derek talked non-stop but Elvara didn’t mind. Finally she asked Derek,
”Who is that boy?” while pointing at him. Derek giggled and said while smiling, ”He is Joey Vanvel.” So she told Derek the story about Joey and her in the woods. Derek giggle and said,” Meet me outside after school.”
When she did, Derek took her into the woods. When in the middle of the woods near a bunch of bundled trees Derek said,“ Joey got bit by a vampire last night.“ She was stunned and speechless. Than Derek climbed a tree and parted the branches. She took Elvara’s hand and pulled her through the tree’s. When through Elvara stared. She saw dragons flying, werewolves sleeping, mermaids diving, unicorns running, fairies playing tag, and vampires playing baseball. Derek smiled and said, “ Welcome to Ravera, the land of magic.” Then Derek turned toward the lake with the mermaids in it and asked,
“Can I come diving?” “Sure!” one replied, and Derek jumped into the lake and disappeared under the surface for 20 minutes. Elvara saw Joey in the corner and went and sat next to him. He wasn’t used to all this and was glad to talk to her. He told her about his past, and she told him about hers. Over the time that they talked they fell in love. Its been three months and its late June. The dragons are about to have a mating flight, which will pull all nearby into it by sending emotions through them. Derek warned all the kids to go but Elvara and Joey stayed. It was amazing but costly because in the middle of it all, Joey accidentally bit Elvara in the neck. When he realized what he did he separated from her but it was too late. She started transforming that day. During her change she started to gain wait and after a while more signs started showing. Since Joey never left her side through it all, he realized what he had done. He had gotten this 13 year old girl pregnant!
Finally 3 days later she woke up. She finally realized what had happened. She felt humiliated, and when Joy told her she was pregnant she nearly fainted. But she soon accepted it. She didn’t want to go home but Derek said she had to after the child is born.
The child is going to be born soon. Elvara was the first vampire to be in labor so this was new to everyone. The child turned out to be two kids, a boy and a girl. They named the girl Vendara, and the boy Coriska. They were perfect, beautiful, and kind. But they refused to be separated, they are best friends. Time passed, one month to be precise. The kids looked 5 years old now. Derek was teaching them how to read and write. She also taught them magical history. Their mom visited every day after school, and their dad never left her side, even though he had school too. Life went on as usual for them.
