Renen sighed and looked up at the clock, almost the end of the day. The carnival started on Saturday, which happened to be the very next day. He smiled thinking about it, the three day carnival to kick off Summer was always great, even as a high schooler.

On his way to the carnival Renen cursed himself for waking up so late, he was keeping his friends waiting. He rode back around the colorful tents to the rear entrance where they would be waiting. That way was always faster because no one knew about it. There were deep woods off the trail that had intuiged him from when he was younger. Rounding a bend he saw that none of his friends were, in fact, even there yet, he glanced back behind him, none coming either. Maybe this was a oprotunity to explore the woods a little, he never had before.
