"You're an elf?" The girl asked, ignoring my question.I watched her reactions. She seemed exited and stared at me bug-eyed."I knew elves were real!" She exclaimed. "My master always told me that none of that was real. He sheltered me from everyone else; he made it so that I couldn't come in contact with anyone. But deep down, I knew!" she ranted on. I nodded.
"Your name?" I pressed.
"Oh, right,"She shook her head. "I'm Kia."
"I am Ari. We are going to have to stay here for a few weeks until Ruby has grown and I have found the ore I have come here for. I must go now. I shall bring us food after I'm done looking for the ore, until then,please try to get to know Ruby and observe your hand." I said, then headed back towards the town.
