This is a world based off of the series the Inheritance Cycle.
This is a summary of Eragon.
The chapter summaries I think you should read are: Discovery, Awakening, Tea for Two, A Rider's Blade, Revelation at Yazuac, Through a Dragon's eye, Vision of Perfection, and The Glory of Tronjheim.

Brom once said that we don't know how many dragons survived Galbatorix's slaughter of dragons. We also don't know how many dragon eggs are left. There were the three Galbatrix had but what if there were other eggs that were hidden and escaped the slaughter?

You can be with the Empire or the Varden.

In this world you make a character, and they find a dragon egg. Join in the adventure by filling out this form and pming me:

5. You can only have 1 rider/dragon. You can have 2 other characters but they can't be a rider, and one Werecat
6. Have fun!

New acquaintance

I backed away from the other elf as she stepped forward. She was pretty so I gave her my friendliest smile. "What's your name?" I asked, not really expecting an answer--after all, she didn't know me, and probably thought I was being nosy. Still, I couldn't help myself.

To my surprise, she answered. "I'm Zarine." She said it in such a way as to imply that it should have meant something to me. Since it didn't, I simply introduced myself. "I'm Akkar--It's a pleasure to meet you, Zarine."

Hiding continued

It was getting a little hot out in the field so I made my way to a large tree which covered enough grass for me to sit under in the shade. Then suddenly, leaves began falling and a rustling noise came from above me. Alarmed I stood up and took my sword out.
"who's up there? What are you doing up there?!" I shouted but there was no answer. Then there was more rustling and a strange looking elf jumped from a bark onto the ground. He was tall and had blue eyes, reminded me somewhat of Von.
"Oh I'm sorry ma'am, I didn't mean to scare you", the strange elf replied
"You didn't scare me, you just... *clears throat* never mind. Now if you don't mind I would like my shade spot back" I moved closer to where he was standing which forced him to back away from my spot...

After Azof walked away, I made my way in the opposite direction, pausing at the base of a large tree. Seeing that no one was telling me what to do, I started to climb, quickly reaching the topmost branches. From my perch, I observed the others. They were milling about, looking as unsure of what to do as I was.

I noticed small groups forming, mostly divided between elf and human. I sighed--since, having been raised away from other elves, I didn't fit very well into either group.

Suddenly I heard a voice below me.

"What are you doing up there?"

Change (Saphire intro)

Saphire watched as the two began to leave. Hmp,annoying little creatures... Saphire thought. She quickly ran past them and skidded to a turn and went down another hall. Soon she was outside. She turned into her human form. Looking around she said " Is there any water around here?" Irritably she turned to see the ghost were cat that had followed her since she joined them. "What do you want?!" She growled. To warn you. she said. "About what." Saphire said,loosing her patience. Change is coming. The were cat said gravely. "What change!" She said loudly so everyone near could hear her but the were cat was already fading away again.

Zarine Intro

Past

Zarine was the daughter of the chief of her village. Her father, also being the general, taught her the art of swordsmanship and her mother taught her all she knew about magic. One night her village was attacked by a large group of rebels siding with the empire, in which she lost both her parents and her mate Von. On that night, Zarine’s mother gave her a dragon egg and told her that it is now her sole duty to find this egg its rider and protect it from the hands of evil. Zarine’s mother led her through a passage in the forest which would take her away from their village, she then went back to help protect the people of her village. Zarine never saw her parents after that night and now 18 years on she still has not met the rider of the dragon egg. Upon hearing that dragon riders will be trained for a battle against the empire, Zarine set out to Tronjheim in the hope that maybe she will find owner of her dragon egg there

Following the storyline....

I reached Tronjheim last night and asked the guard if I could see the person in charge. He asked me why and I showed him the dragon egg and told him I was in search for its rider. I was told that someone named Lady Vanessa was in charge but is currently sleeping so without another word I left, I did not have time to waste, if there was a battle coming soon then I needed to get this egg to its rider as soon as possible. When leaving Tronjheim something strange happened, the dragon egg, which had lain still for 18 years now began to move, but why? With this question in mind I decided to stay here with the Varden, in the hope that maybe the rider was here, among these people and the sudden movement of the dragon egg was a sign of this.
The riders began training this morning but much to my dismay each one already has a dragon, with not a lot to do right now I’ve decided to sit and watch the riders train and then make my way to meet Lady Vanessa again.

This is my first post so I’m a little unsure with the details of what is happening but I hope this does for now :) I have just one question, the story so far, is it taking place in Tronjheim, (the city where the Vardens are)? I assumed this so please let me know if I’m wrong. Also I also have a dragon egg which hasn’t hatched so if any non-rider would like to take that please send me a pm, thank you :)
