Over time, this place has become my sporadic, and very random blog 'thing'. I'm too much of a personal person to post about everything that happens in my real life, but my internet life is all here for you to check out. Let the randomness ensue.

Also in this world, I shall post:

Segments: Agree or Disagree?, Pet Peeves

Other Sites You'll Find Me: Tumblr, Minitokyo, DeviantART, LiveJournal (I don't visit this much), Blogspot (I visit this even less), Twitter (I joined this site over a year ago because of my infatuation with Tom Felton) Since my absence, Tom Hiddleston has become my life-ruiner. Don't understand it? Just research him and it'll happen to you too. That man is a Disney Prince, brought to life.

5 Features I Wish TheOtaku Had

  • A preview option in the Private Message and Comment areas.

  • A once a month PM, listing all of the birthdays of your friends, for that month- so you'd actually have some time to create a gift.
  • A highly noticeable notification (in your PM, or backroom) of your favorited, but nearly ending challenges. Time can slip away from a person, and they need an 'in your face' option to remind them.
  • A way to cluster multiple submissions/world entries under a drop down list (or this), in the backroom, because some of you are more active than others.
  • A way to transfer submissions into challenges, in the event that right after you post something like, I don't know- a Star Trek wallpaper? And someone makes a Star Trek wallpaper challenge the next day, and now you're angry; flippin' everyone the Klingon Bird and drowning your angst in Vulcan Spice Tea, but you've already gotten a crapload of comments and favorites, and loathe the idea of deleting it or uploading it twice. Though, I'd suggest that there's a time limit for this- so that people will still need to create new things, instead of shoving all of their old crap into new challenges.

(Just ideas. Ramblings of a person up too late at night, and feeling slightly critical.)

Dear Minitokyo,

-you deleted two of my wallpapers because of lacking quality, therefore catapulting me into angst, temporary loathing- and then, motivation. I was prompted to attempt different things with my wallpapers (vectoring, + other things/wallpapers I've yet to post), and to realize that I'm not completely awesome at graphics, and that I could use some improvement.

For that motivation, I can only say-

Edit: Thank for you the clarification about the glitch. //smiles// Now that I know that it's been a glitch for about two+ years and that it will be there until the end of time, I can style my text with angst- and no longer have to suffer alone.

I've been having the most horrid day, and this cheered me up so much.
Thanks for the feature, TheOtaku! /wipes stray tears away

TheOtaku Questionnaire? Oh, yes.

01. What was the first anime you've ever watched?
>> Speed Racer; that show is made of win. Go Speed Racer, GO!

02. What anime influenced you to start drawing?
>> Rurouni Kenshin---the style, fluidity, and overall amazingness of the anime is what kicked things off for me.

03. One of your favorite members criticizes your artwork which you've spent hours on, you...
>> Accept it with a smile; criticism is a tool that I use to improve my art, and getting criticism from a trustworthy fellow Otaku is always helpful.

04. You judge artwork based on what?
>> Depth, style, effort, originality, and impact.

05. Who's your favorite artist in TheOtaku? And 'I don't know' is not an answer...
>> MescaBoogie. Her art = WIN.

06. Who was the first member to talk to you?
>> My real-life friend, evilinugirl. We've been friends for like forever, yo. 8D

07. What do you feel when a new member criticize your artwork?
>> I feel grateful. They've spent time out of their day, to express concerns over my artwork---criticism is something I need in order to improve my artwork.

08. You don't get too much hugs, favorites or comments for an artwork you put your heart in, you...
>> I might frown for a moment, but in the end, it just fuels by burning desire to improve my art.

09. You were hoping your favorite subscriber would leave a comment on your artwork, but they never did, you...

>> Shrug it off. They have a life besides the internet; expecting them to cater to my commenting needs is a tad presumptuous.

10. Did you get nervous when you're about to leave a comment in an Otaku Legend/Senior Otaku or any other high ranker's artwork?
>> I am an Otaku Legend. *chuckles deviously and flashes status* /facepalms

11. Do you subscribe back to those who have subscribe to you?
>> No. I only subscribe to those who have great submissions and/or are a delight to talk to.

12. Do you check the artworks of your subscribers?
>> I always look; occasionally favorite, and I comment if I have enough time.

13. How many times did you visit the 'New Member Introduction' site in a week?
>> I used to, however I've visited that section less and less.

14. Last Question, do you like this questionnaire? And why is that?
>> Yes, I found it to be quite interesting. There are hardly enough TheOtaku based questionnaires out there...
