The King of Pop, that is.
I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but Michael Jackson died of a heart attack on the 26th. I knew about it then, but I didn't make a post. But now I am. x3
Anyways, I think it's important for everyone to know that Michael Jackson was innocent when being tried as a child molester. People have always made fun of him for being strange and for supposidly being abusive to children and I'll admit I have made some insensitive comments about Michael Jackson before, but I think everyone should know that that's wrong.
People shouldn't judge what or who they don't know. You can watch someone a million times on TV or you can hear all the gossip you want about a person, but you're only as smart as the source you're getting information from. I don't think any of us could have made a clear judgement of Michael's character because he was a celebrity and obviously many of us don't talk to celebrities on a regular basis, but from what I live by, I think people should deserve the benifit of the doubt.
People who do strange things on the outside probably were insecure on the inside. I believe Michael Jackson was a good man and I don't really know how to explain it, but that's what I think. Obviously he was extremely talented and he deserves a lot of praise for all of his accomplishments.
It's sort of late and I know this is sort of sloppy, but there it is. I thought I'd put this out there. Ha.
We've lost a very talented and misunderstood on Friday. It's sad and he deserves recognition (obivously he was already recognized and praised long before his death, but still.)
