Well, I'm not really into Iron Chef, but here's some of my ideas for questions:

1. Is there an ingredient that you consider as the ultimate ingredient for dishes or dessert in general?
2. What can you say about artificial flavorings that make cooking easy while at the same time make dishes not as genuine as using the original ingredients?

Here's some for Morimoto: What convienced you to become Iron Chief anyway? What are some of your most favorite ingredients to use while you cook?

Okidoke, I have a few questions for Morimoto-san, all along the same lines:

What is so appealing about competing on national television? Do you enjoy it more or less than non-televised events? Does the publicity play a factor at all? What was your first televised competition experience like?
