One of the biggest complaints I’ve seen is that people can’t find their former friends on the new site. However, I have figured out how one can easily find and re-add people over here at VV. So let me explain. First of all, sign into both sites, VV and myOtaku. Once you have done this, go to your back room over at myOtaku and go to a friends myOtaku page. Once you are there copy and paste the url of their page into another open window. Then, going back to the first open window, click on the link to their profile and it will take you to their VV site and incidentally right to the page where you can subscribe to them again.
Now, once you’ve done that, close that page and go to the other one I had you open up in myOtaku. Go to your back room and then to the next friend on your list. Again, once you are there, copy and paste the url into a new page before going back to the first one and clicking on that portfolio link. Rinse and repeat as needed. ^_^ It is a little time consuming with the need to constantly open a new window, but that’s because it’s easier than constantly backtracking to myOtaku.
I hope that helps those of you who are having trouble finding your friends at myOtaku over here at theOtaku/Version Vibrant. Since friends are part of what makes this place so much fun to begin with.
