Well now that we are a few days into the new Version Vibrant, the inevitable fallout is occurring. I've been seeing a lot of upset people over at Adam's new world page and at his myO page as well. And it seems there are a lot of myO users who are also very, very unhappy.
I really don’t know what to say since Adam has always been open to feedback and he did a good job keeping us posted so we wouldn’t be completely clueless when things finally launched. And though there are things I don’t like, for example how the comment boxes cover the page and the text area for typing a reply is so tiny, but still I feel like it’s an amazing leap with all the new features and how things are set up.
I feel like we went from windows 95 to windows Vista. From the dark ages into the beginning of a new era altogether for theOtaku. I personally find the whole thing rather exciting and I find myself interested in the site again. This after I kind of lost interest in it last year since I love OtakuBoards more.
Personally I’m really glad to see things moving forward like this. Because if you don’t change and grow, eventually someone else does and you get left behind. You can’t stay the way you were forever and I’m thrilled to see things going down such a bold path since it speaks well for the overall future of this place.
