sparks scatters around the two boys as the axe clashed with my zanpakuto. the impact alone and pushed me back a few feet and the sheer strength of this creature was like trying to catch a building. regaining my footing i pushed him back as he just stood there looking at me. i could tell he was smiling under his helmet. i glanced back at the two boys.
"you two have to get out of here now. i will take it from here."
the older boy looked up at me as i switched my eyes between them and the thing in front of me.
" his foot, its caught under root! i can budge him!" the boy tugged again at his foot with nothing moving from its place. i had two options take this things down while i can. or try to escape with them.. it took only a moment for me to figure it out.
the root fell to pieces as i swung my sword behind me and set the boy free.the figure grumbled and rose its axe taking another swing this time faster and with no hesitation. taking a step back and sheathing my sword i picked them both up in on arm each and flash stepped to a safe distance.
the younger boy looked up at me as i set them down outside the woods and turned back to face the creature...whatever he may be....
"t-thank you sir!" with a nod i told them to get to safety and dashed back into the woods keeping my gaurd up. i catch something shining out the corner of my eye and stop just in time to see the axe stream by my face cutting off small hairs as it flew by and slammed into a tree splitting it down the middle.
the figure burst the the bushes charging full speed and i took out my sword and readied myself as it got closer.
"mmmmnnnngrraaaahhhhhh!!!!" it roared and swung a fist at me. stepping to the side iducked around the swing and put my full force behind thrusting my sword into his stomache. but it did no good as the tip of my blade was stopped by its hard skin. i swung again and again leaving but only small scratches on his armor and skin. something was strange about this. it was like nothing i could recognize and stronger than any hollow i saw before. if i didnt end this fast things wouldnt end well for me. i leaped into the air and floated there for a moment thinking that maybe a hado would subdue him but the second i rose my hand up he was in front of me in a blink of an eye. i felt the wind get knocked out of me as i skidded back from its punch....
"this isnt good.."
