light sky. another day like msot others. it was my turn on patrol and i was just about to head back to the meeting point and switch off with another reaper near the rukon district. it was within sight when my mind fell neutral as i wondered what other plans were waiting for me.
suddenly i hear the screachin roar of a familiar voice through the woods followed by snapping branches and a scream. i turned towards the sound putting my hand by my sword and glancing back at the meeting place.
"seems they will have to wait a bit longer im afraid.." i mumbled to myself and flash stepped towards the noise with the roars seeming to be getting louder.
two boys ran from the monsterous figure chasing after them, screaming for help as it flashes a massive battle axe and flung it foward, cleaving it into a tree and just missing. the smaller boy stumbled on a tree root as the axe flew over his head and into the tree above him. he tried to get back up but his foot was caught under the roots. the older boy came to his aid immidiatly.
"justin! come on we must hurry!!" the boy turned to the figure as it slowly approaches bareing lightweight armor and a head masked by a black helmet. it let out a low growl as it smiled under its helmet and drew its axe from the tree. the boy furiously tried to free justin from the tree root but his leg wouldnt budge.
"onee-san! go on without me!! hurry!!"
"no! im not leaving yu behind!"
the figure rose his axe above them and came with with great force... sreams echoed throught the forest...
