Nah. Ace's death was always going to happen, the way the Marineford arc was portrayed gave the impression that it wasn't going to end well and Ace had been marked for death since Blackbeard fought him. Neji's death had hardly any build up, in fact I expected Kakashi & Tsunade to die. (Granted there's still time for that to happen and I assume Tsunade already is dead) I get the feeling that Naruto is going for the 3rd X-Men film scenario where most of the support cast gets wiped out and you end up with the "What just happened?" face or the "Why did you kill Prof. X?" face.

Sadly he is dead. I don't like the way it was done either, there was no build up to it, it was completely random.
