Utah Legislators Can't Afford Bad Ideas

Once upon a time, the State of Utah passed a Jack Thompson bill (HB 353) to allow stricter punishments for retailers that sell M-rated games and R-rated movies to minors. Governor of Utah Jon Hunstman realized the bill was asinine and vetoed it. Utah Legislature could override the veto... but it'd cost $25,000 so they don't wanna do it. Good call all around.
