What a crazy market. Apparently, there is a company in Kyoto that allows customers to get underwear on a rent-to-own basis. For example, a bra retails for ¥13,000 (about $124 USD), but for a 15-month contract, you only have to put down ¥3,900 ($37 USD) initially and ¥500 ($4 USD) for the next 14 months.
