Hybrid DeidaraNarutoClan

"Hybrid! Get yourself moving and help me sew her up!" Finkelstein snapped at me for "dawdling" with the sewing kit and sewing the arms together.

"I'm doing the fastest I can," I growled back, "I want to be precise so the arms don't fall apart!"

He smacked the kit out of my hands and bit the seams, tying them together afterward. "We don't have time! I need her to be awoken tonight! Doing something as pointless as that isn't essential for the current time."

ISN'T ESSENTIAL?! I glared at him. For a mad scientist, he was sure hasty. I could've done better than him, but he NEVER listened to any of the suggestions I had because he was an egomaniac. If he had, then it would've been simpler and his creations would've been better put together. So, you could say that he thought lowly of my intellect.

"Forget it. I can do this myself," he growled at me, "Set the machine up and see if it's ready for her to be reanimated."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," I waved him off with my hand as I walked over to the machine.

"Watch your tone!" he snapped.

"Yes, yes, oh sure, oh great creator," I muttered sarcastically as I started setting up the levers to their proper places and setting the dials up.

He seemed to be sewing quickly and hastily on the body, neck, torso, legs, and other features of what was soon to be another creation, but was ruining it! Nothing can survive that long with those poorly sewn stitching and even if they could, it'd sure be hard to walk, run, or do any activity without falling apart.

"Hybrid," he called, moving the tray with the patched up girl over to the machine I was first aware of when I was revived, "Is the machine all set up, like I told you to do?"

"Yes..." I sighed to the old man.

"Excellent," his hoarse voice seemed to hiss like a cockroach, "Quickly, set her up on the table."

I groaned at him but did as I told, lifting the girl's body onto the table and gently setting it down. 'I could've done a better job on the stitching,' the thought was bugging me, 'Maybe I can fix it as soon as she's revived.'

"Hybrid, move out of the way!" Finkelstein snapped at me, "Unless you want your body to be burnt to a crisp and become useless again, move!"

I grumbled a little under my breath but obeyed and stepped back. He maneuvered the wheelchair over to one red lever and lifted it up, activating the unusual machine. I witnessed, first-hand, on how a body was reanimated... How I got reanimated. "It needs more power!" Finkelstein said, annoyed, "Flip the switch!"

I rolled my eyes and pulled down a large metallic switch. The machine rumbled and roared as the electricity flowed through it. Normally if so much energy flowed through, I'd figure a fuse would blow... that wasn't the case here apparently.

"It's working! It's working!" Finkelstein continued to hiss, somewhat incoherently.

I ignored him but gazed at the table as I saw movement within the girl. The machine powered down and her eyes flew open, blinking a few times. "Welcome to Halloween Town..." Finkelstein beckoned to her.

She looked over to him in curiosity. "Halloween... Town?"

"Yes, come here child."

She looked down at the table, looked back at me, and then looked back at him. "Take your time..." he said more patently to her than he ever had done to me, "You'll get the hang of it Sally..."

"Sal... ly?" She said almost murmured.

"Yes. That's your name," he said in a kind voice, putting his gloved hand over to hers to help assist.

She looked at it for a second and lightly grabbed it. "Fa... father?" she asked.

Finkelstein's small eyes seemed to widen at what she had just said. "Yes! Yes Sally!"

She flinched a little at his reaction but smiled when she saw the one spread across his lips as he helped her off the table. Her balance was off and she almost fell the first time she tried to take a step. The seams looked like they would rip any second and it bugged me to death. She let her gaze avert to every inch and corner of the room, then it fell on me. "Who?" She asked, not being able to tell whether she was speaking to me or "Dr. Bipolar."

Finkelstein shifted to my direction and turned to her again. "That's... your older brother..." he said, almost hesitantly and spitting out the words.

She started to hobble over to where I stood to get a better look. I backed away into the darkness and tried to hide but she followed my movements until she was finally in front of me and I was backed into a dark corner with a cobweb above me. "Big... brother..." she spoke, nodding to me, and stepping back at an unbalanced movement to our "father".

I blinked. 'Big Brother?'
