besides the patterns, i only used two shades of gray. i even changed the way a colored Alistair; rather than doing a dark grey all over, i did black shadows and dark gray highlights.
anyone recognize the outfit Natalya is wearing? i changed the shoes a bit because i forgot what they looked like and was too lazy to get out the drawing of the outfit.

before he found himself in Lakesha to serve Natalya, Alistair lived in the nation of Chelicera. He and Lachlan were the best known swordsman in the country at that time. Even though he and Lachlan were hired to guard Chelicera's Princess at times, Alistair never was very popular. People feared him and not Lachlan because of his foreboding presence. This didn't make him very happy at all. It wasn't until Lakesha's Czar decided that Nayatla (his daughter) needed a friend, badly, that Alistair met Natalya. It was arranged that a ball beheld for the Grand Duchess (Natalya) to meet the Princess of Chelicera to form a friendship and hopefully an alliance with another country. When the Princess came to Lakesha, she was guarded by Alistair and Lachlan, to whom Natalya thought were more interesting than the Princess herself. He formed an attachment to Natalya because she was the only one even remotely interested in him.
The Grand Duchess' desire for a 'knight in shining armor' dragged Alistair into her realm, Lachlan followed soon after. Alistair and Lachlan were knighted alongside Ivan by Natalya, forming a bond that puzzled the Czar and family members. Rather than befriending the Princess, Natalya acquainted herself with three grown men (or so it would appear) and a girl with pointy ears and tattoos. The Princess and Duchess still hang out, as a matter of fact, the princess didn't really care that she lost the two best swordsmen in Chelicera because she thought Alistair was creepy and Lachlan gay because he didn't seem interested in her.
