This was something I drew a couple of years ago but never posted here because I forgot. lmao
This mermaid is based on the lionfish. The scan looks okay, but I feel like it looks better in person. I had some alcohol inks and decided to try using it as watercolor. It worked nicely, but it was messy and stinky.
I think lionfish are pretty but recently found out they are an invasive species. so now I have complicated feelings.
