This is an older piece.
I knew I could draw Neji when I made this, but I wanted to make sure I could at least have his details stand out from the rest of my doodles. I attempted the original style in the corner there for giggles-

Neji has long been a very important character in my fan-comic, other wise this would not have been a result....

The gray there, is where I experimented with how gray ink and that shade of brown would look on one another. The brown marker is much too bright to be Neji's hair color by itself.
