Wow, it has been a while since I've uploaded fan art. So, I thought I would start a new art series of nothing but smiling Pokémon. "Why", you ask? It's because of cute things, that's why.

So, first up is Espurr, my favorite Gen 6 Pokémon. So much has been said about this creature and how evil and scarred for life it looks. However, a smiling Espurr is one of the sweetest things I've seen in a long while. I say this as a 21-year old male whose in a complicated relationship with his emotions. I drew this after watching an episode of the new XY anime that featured Espurr. As someone who hasn't seen the series in years, the episode wasn't perfect, but it really got me to sympathize with a creature so associated with death.

I'm currently taking requests to draw more Pokémon. I'll make it smiling, of course.
