I had this idea once: if you lose, your 'mask' falls and you are vulnerable.....You feel discovered and wait for the worse to happen.....
But the guy in the picture turns away from the girl, this being a sign that he spares her from shame.....he must've been in the same situation and just lets go of it all, not willing to see anyone go through such situation
