Dude, I'm not even a fan of this anime (because I've never watched it), but I have faved and voted on each of these pics because they are incredible! I love the movement in their poses, the colours, details, and the wickedly awesome way you play with the focus. You've got me wanting to figure out how you do it. Truly inspiring! Well done!

(and him) I also love how you did all the members of the Sanzo party in diferent seasons! such a beautiful idea! and BTW I have the box set of the first series and am also behind on the story (though I don't intend to be for long! ) now then for this one you get a whole truckload of virtual cookies! This one was done entirely in Photoshop. (But that was before I discovered how awesome Paint Tool SAI is for line art. From now on, line art is in SAI, painting in Photoshop, probably.) I always work in 300 dpi, as that's print quality, but it's the number of pixels that counts, not the dpi alone, per se. ^_~ The original size of this was 12"x16" @ 300 dpi.
Absolutely gorgeous! I'm especially fond of the different colors of shading on the sash. It's subtle, but it really helps set a mood for this piece. I was wondering what resolution and program were you working in. Is this 300 DPI? It looks stunningly clear and clean.

The coloring on this is absolutely gorgeous! Call me impressed. Hakkai is my second fav Saiyuki guy, but very close to my fav of Sanzo. This picture does his character a lot of justice. Thanks so much for sharing!

As always, your art puts me at a loss of words...Simply amazing work! I am just in love with your coloring style! (Someday, I'd love to be able to do it too!) I also really like the slight blurring in the background. It gives a real sense of dimension and depth to it. :)
